By examining the geopolitical divides between East and West,
North and South, this section will discuss elements of discourse,
history, politics and economy that created and maintain borders.
It will also examine the possibility of transcending, dismantling
and reconstructing those borders. This session welcomes diverse
topics related to East-West and North-South. The sub-topics
for this session will include: North-South and political economy
in crisis; race, state, people, class, language, geography
of education, orientalism and westernization, monopoly, poverty
and violence; feminism and activism; community, communication,
and networking in Korea and Asia.
