Women have unique physical, physiological,
and structural characteristics that influence their health,
and therefore women's health needs to be addressed for every
age group. Sports is one alternative method of examining and
improving it. This session examines women's sports for maintaining
good health in youth, middle- and old-age. This session will
employ an interdisciplinary approach to facilitate the exchange
of information for a comprehensive understanding of women's
health. Sub-topics will include women's health issues, women's
activities and gender inequality in sports.
