This section will discuss issues arising from regional conflicts
and anti-American nationalism resulting from the current American
military reprisals for the September 11 attacks. Moreover,
this section will deal with military conflicts caused by racial
nationalism, which have increased significantly since 1990.
This will address on a global scale how to judge, diagnose
and participate in the core issues and how to overcome the
perception of women as simply war victims. A general diagnosis
of global conditions will be discussed in a comprehensive
manner. This section includes women and the military; national
security; crimes against women and other races in times of
war, peace and conflict resolution; refugees; International
Women's Human Rights Law related to war; and the participation
of women in peace negotiations.
