This section will discuss the periodic worldwide problems
associated with gender in the fields of science, technology
and medicine and it encompasses a wide range of issues. These
include the relationship between the evolution of science,
technology and medicine in women's lives ; women who devoted
themselves to science, technology, medicine ; women-related
education and training system in science, technology, medicine
; career development policies and support systems for women
in science, technology and medicine; women as consumers of
science, technology and medicine ; activities in science,
technology, medicine ; and information systems seen from feminist
perspective. This session will discuss theoretical and empirical
research, case studies, qualitative and quantitative analyses,
policy alternatives, education, PR strategies and specific
programs for implementation in which diverse and open approaches
are anticipated.
